Thanks to the SI team for holding and members of NOWS for participating. I personally appreciated the opportunity to share with a couple players some new games and I too learned one...great hospitality as well.

Although I couldn't stay all day, it was great seeing some old friends enjoying themselves at the gaming tables.

I wanted to thank everyone for coming out yesterday for the Fields of Glory event. We had some excellent games going on and I wanted to give a special thanks to all of the GMs that spent the time setting up and running the events as well as Gamers Haven for co-sponsoring the Flames of War events. We had folks driving as far from West Virginia, Michigan, and Pennsylvania for the event. There were several brand new people who never played historical games or who didn't know about NOWS or the North Coast Gamers before that were given the opportunity to get to know the hobby. It was great to see everyone!

Started out slow but when I left at three looked like all the tables in use.

Hey Everyone! I will be bringing a bunch of pastries and such for the morning. I am going to do a guess on the attendees as there are some registered on some sites and not others. I am going to shoot for 50 people attending...not sure how accurate so either we will have plenty of pastries in the morning or...well, or not :-) I was thinking about doing hotdogs/hamburgers, but without an accurate count it would be too expensive to guess at that, so everyone will be on their own for other food. Bring whatever food you want, for yourself or to share. Looking forward to having a casual day of gaming with everyone!

We have a great list of attendees so far on this site and the registration site (over 20+ people on the other site). We are looking for folks to run some Board Games as well, so if you are willing to schedule any, let us know!
