What we are about.
This is a group for women to make new friendships over a friendly coffee, wine and something to eat . We are women in our late 40's plus.
We meet approximately once a month usually on a weekend during the day. We generally visit venues in the north to eastern suburbs and around the city. Past events have included lunches, movies, afternoon teas and visits to galleries and craft workshops.
We welcome any suggestions for places that would be suitable for the group and if there is enough interest we can extend our activities to the evenings, particularly during daylight savings.
The current members are a friendly group of ladies and we
welcome new members from all walks of life regardless of your circumstances or interests.
So if you would like to widen your social circle and engage in lively, interesting chats and share a coffee, wine or meal, join us as we explore this wonderful city that we live in.
Currently there are no fees. In order to maintain a no fee policy I need to keep numbers below 50. If you do not attend a Meetup within three months of joining or you have not attended any meetup over a 5 month period your membership will be cancelled. This ensures that people do not sit on the membership list without actively participating preventing others from joining.
As our meetups involve booking a table at a venue, it is imperative that if you have RSVP'D YES and you are unable to attend, that you let me know. My mobile number is posted on the members board for each meetup. Please text me. You can also change your RSVP attendance on the board by clicking NO. I am notified of all RSVP changes as soon as they are made on the group's board. This allows me to notify venues of changes to booking numbers.
We look forward to meeting you,

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
