Assaggio-Lunch

Assaggio (http://www.assaggioboston.com/) is a traditional North End Italian restaurant. Portions are large, the help is friendly and prices are quite reasonable. It's been in the neighborhood for quite a while and has a very loyal following. We'll be having lunch at 1:00. Entrees, salads and panini are almost all in the $[masked] range.

To locate the restaurant, walk down the left side of Hanover Street if you're coming from the Greenway and take your 2nd left onto  Prince St. (at Caffe dello Sport & St. Leonard's Peace Garden.) If you get there between 12:00 and 1:00, join us for a glass of wine at the bar. Haymarket is the nearest T-stop and the Parcel 7 Garage (entrance on Sudbury St.) the best place to park. Please bring cash, as we won't be getting separate checks.

    Good food,
Nice wine (thanks Hahae for the recommendation),
    A pleasant group of people,
    A very kind & organized host, &
    Dessert at Café Victoria.
What's not to like? The sun even came out to tease us with Spring. Wow.

Thanks Jim & everyone for an enjoyable afternoon. I look forward to seeing you again at another NEEM.

I'm sorry, but I'm sick. I really hate to miss this because it sounds like fun and the weekend timing is easier for me than weeknights. Oh well, next time.

Sounds great. Too bad the weather is nasty & not great to drive as well as nowhere to park in North End during a storm. Hope to meet up at another very soon.

The best spot to park is the Parcel 7 Garage:
