Aragosta-lobster in Italian (http://www.aragostabistro.com/43/about) is the restaurant of the Fairmont Battery Wharf Hotel. We had 20 for lunch/brunch on the terrace there last May. Well, we're going back to the terrace on Wednesday, March 27th! It will be Spring on the calendar and we'll be having dinner by the Fire Pits on the terrace. (http://www.aragostabistro.com/550/firepit-parties) I ate out there on Monday evening, before the storm arrived, and had a great meal-Baked Veal & Pancetta Meatballs, Barolo Braised Short Ribs and Tiramisu. All for $38 (+tax, tip & drinks) from their Restaurant Week menu.
(http://stage.bostonusa.com/menus/aragosta_dinner.pdf) They also have a special Fire Pits menu, with make your own smores. (http://www.aragostabistro.com/Userfiles/Aragosta/Menus/FIREPITS_2013_WEB.pdf) Your 3rd possiblity is their regular menu (http://www.aragostabistro.com/Userfiles/Aragosta/Menus/DINNER2013.pdf) They even have gluten-free and vegan choices. So there's plenty to choose from.
Precipitation is the only thing that would force us inside. But meet us at the bar inside from 6:00-7:00 for a cocktail or glass of wine. Aquarium (Blue Line) is the closest T-station. Or, if you go to Haymarket, walk to the end of Hanover St. and take a right. It's just a block from there. For drivers, there are open lots on either side of Commercial St. So join us for an early taste of Spring. There are blankets for those who need them, and if anyone is still chilly, we'll snuggle up and warm each other.
