Antico Forno-Dinner

Antico Forno (http://www.anticofornoboston.com/) is about 15 years old and is owned by a North End native. The restaurant's name means "old oven" and it is known for its wood-burning oven. The place has a warm cozy atmosphere. Pizzas are especially tasty but they have many appetizers and entrees to choose from. Proportions are large. Price ranges are: Appetizers $7-18, Pizzas $13-17, Entrees $17-24. Coming from the Greenway, the restaurant is a short way down Salem St. on the right side.

We'll begin the evening with a cocktail hour from 6:00-7:00 at the bar and follow dinner with a visit to a local cafe for cappuccino, espresso & pastries. Please bring cash, as we will not be getting separate checks.

My favorite restaurant so far from what I've been to in the North End.

Jim, great job last night. One of the most attended meet-ups that I've been. Antico Forno is a nice little venue with very accomodating waiters and good pasta. I enjoyed it!!! Thanks
