I have just posted NEEM events for the next 2 weeks.
On Thursday, August 18th, we'll attend the Fisherman's Feast on Fleet and North Streets. It's the North End's oldest feast and the only one that starts on a Thursday night. So the crowds shouldn't be too overwhelming, at least not early in the evening. http://www.fishermansfeast.com/ Let's meet in the Fiore Restaurant lounge between 6:00-7:00 and mingle over drinks before heading to the feast. Haymarket is the nearest T-stop and the Parcel 7 Garage http://search.aol.com/aol/search?s_it=nscpsearch&q=parcel+7+garage (entrance on Sudbury St.) is the best place to park. The feast will be held rain or shine. There is no limit to the number of people who may come. http://www.meetup.com/North-End-Eating-Meetup-NEEM/events/29243681/
On Restaurant Week we will dine at Artu on Prince St. http://www.artuboston.com The date is Tuesday, August 23rd. The 3-course meal is priced at $33 (+tax, tip, drinks). http://www.artuboston.com/restaurantweekaug11.pdf You may also order off their regular menu. We've had lunch there before and it proved to be quite popular. We'll meet up from 6:00-7:00 over drinks and then sit down to dinner at about 7:00. http://www.meetup.com/North-End-Eating-Meetup-NEEM/events/29244771/
If you're around this month, we hope you'll be able to join us at one of these events, as summer is dwindling.
