I'm often asked my opinion of which restaurant in the North End is the best. I usually ask what the person is looking for. If they're looking for the best food and service, then the answer is Prezza. (http://www.prezza.com/) We will have our first dinner there on Tuesday evening, September 27th. Chef/Owner Anthony Caturano has no peer in the neighborhood. Naturally, this level of food and service is not cheap. But if you want to try the best, then please join us. If you're coming by the T, then Haymarket is the nearest subway stop. The best place to park is the Parcel 7 Garage, entrance on Sudbury Street.
On Wednesday night, October 5th from 6:45-7:45, I am promoting a free concert at the North End Library. In honor of Italian Heritage month, I've engaged jazz singer Krisanthi Pappas to present an all-Sinatra concert. Seating is limited, so if you plan to attend, please arrive by 6:30 to get a seat. Standees are also welcome. After the show, we'll go to the lounge at Ristorante Fiore (250 Hanover St.) for the after-party. There, you can meet the performers and have a drink and some food. (Everyone pays for their own.) No RSVP's are necessary to the Library or to NEEM in order to attend. The Library is located at 25 Parmenter St. As you're walking down Hanover St. from the Greenway, take the first street on your left and cross over. Transportation/parking would be the same as above.
It should be a fun evening.
