Cinco de Mayo may be a drinking weekend for amateurs, but it doesn't mean you're too grown-up to get out and have some great food and killer margaritas with the rest of them. Since Cinco de Mayo is on a Sunday and many of us have other plans, I'm planning our group's event on Friday. I always like to get a head start on everything! ;)
Moderna is a relatively new venue that I just accidentally discovered, and they're thrilled to host our group, even if we get a little on the large side. They have a pretty extensive menu, an equally impressive drink menu, and have assured me they have Cinco de Mayo themed activities going on all weekend.
So, if your party scene doesn't involve $20 covers and tequila shots in dive bars, join us for a more sophisticated way to unwind and celebrate by joining us at Moderna. Reviews rate both the ambiance and the food quite highly. To top it all off, both the food and drinks are pretty inexpensive.
If we feel like wandering around afterwards, the restaurant is located not too far from Roswell Square, where there are plenty of bars, music, and gathering places and fun is to be had. (Fun ends promptly at 1 AM. It's Roswell. :P )
You're not going to sit home on Cinco de Mayo, are you? Come join us, and do something a little different from what everyone else is doing, while still partying in style.
RSVPs are limited to 15 people, so please only RSVP if you plan on attending, and keep them updated! We don't want a whole bunch of empty seats, nor do we want people sitting on each others' laps (well, unless they want to.)
See you there!!
