Day At Callaway Gardens

Hello Everyone,

The spring is near and we are heading to Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain Ga. This is between 1 1/2 to 2 hours from the UNG Oakwood Campus. We are hoping to catch the Azaleas in bloom... they are truly beautiful to see.

We will meet in the Waffle House parking lot at Exit 42 Off I185 on Martha Berry Hwy at 9am. I will be in a white Chrysler Town and County van. The price to get into Callaway Gardens is $25 per person. This is their busy time, so expect lots of people there. We will drive around Callaway and visit many of the main attractions they have there including the Butterfly Center,  Sibley Horticultural Center, Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel and some of the log cabins if possible. If we get a large group of people going, we might have to break into smaller groups to get around better.

In the event of rain or iffy weather, I will send out an email that morning (early) to say if the event is still on.

Please let me know if you have any questions...

Hate to miss it, but it's a little too far from me for this Saturday.

I am so disappointed that I won't be able to join everyone for this event. I really enjoyed the last meeting! Hope you all have a wonderful time!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
