I read about the supper clubs and I loved the idea. I am looking to meet new people that share an interest in building a social network and food (I like to cook and eat) and these things could give us a common bond. Loosely the idea is for members of the group to host a monthly dinner/lunch in thier home. Each month a new cuisine will be introduced to the group, the host will provide the main course and attendees will provide supporting side dishes or drinks. for instance, a theme of Mexico host will provide Tacos and a guest would provide chips and salsa...

This group is for anyone who enjoys eating a variety of delicious food while meeting new people and socializing with everyone. My parents have potluck parties in their community back home and I love bring a part of them. We want to try new, unique, delicious food. The food you bring to the pot luck parties should be home-prepared, so please don't bring in store-prepped meals or desserts.  The second exclusion is alcohol because it wouldn't be the same without a beer/wine/mixed drink to go along with the food especially while we're watching whatever sports game may be on. Unless people volunteer to bring some alcohol instead of food, alcohol is BYOB.

Potluck parties will be hosted at either the generous members of the group who are willing to host the party, or at a public place like a park. If you know of a building/restaurant/bar that would allow a large group of us to use their facility, please let us know. You're welcome to bring more than one dish if you would like! If you attend the potluck parties, it would be highly appreciated if you show up with a food item.

Come on and join our fun... As a reminder this is an adult group children are always welcome, but prefer they remain at home.
