About North Houston Boardgamers

This group was created to provide a gaming venue for social-minded people in the North Houston area to meet new people, play a variety of games and have fun. Our members enjoy sharing their love of board gaming by introducing new games to people, explaining how to play, and learning new games themselves!

We welcome players from "across the board" - from experienced gamers to those who play occasionally. We welcome and encourage game-aged children of Members to participate (typically 8yrs and older). Membership is limited to adults and children may attend as their guests, as long as they are provided with responsible supervision. Infants in carriers/playpens, or on parent's laps, are also acceptable at events. However, some ages and gaming generally do not mix well and we are not a "babysitting" group, so we ask that children between the ages of 2 and 7 do not attend, unless there is a playarea for children and ample supervision provided.

Our Monthly Events are held at a public venue, and are open to all Members. All of our public events are followed by Recaps which provide detailed info on who attended and what games were played.
