So there are LOTS of meetup groups all over the valley but I haven't found one that truly meets my needs or is close to where I live, hence the creation of the group. This group is for any SAHM, WAHM, or the like that wants to meet like minded individuals. The purpose of the group is to talk about juicy reality tv gossip, eat, talk about and work on budgets for our families, maybe explore a little Bible reading and study, venture out and push the strollers around for awhile, maybe learn how to play BUNCO,interested in maybe having a book club, and trading ideas on family traditions, recipes, discipline. Seriously, I want to create a group to develop friendships and learn how to navigate this thing called parenting.

I will provide a couple of guidelines....I prefer that your LOs are around my kids ages...6 months, I prefer that you have had your kiddos vaccinated, that you like overly friendly doggies, can handle a messy house, are interested in developing a routine for your child and sometimes admit to not getting dressed and brushing your teeth until about 10AM or later. I would like us to explore exercising as new moms, maybe train for a marathon together. I want to volunteer somewhere in the city and would like for us to do it as a group. We will work on these things as our group becomes more concrete.
