Do you have a bunch of costume jewelry that you never wear? Do you desire new pieces of jewelry, but don't want to spend any money? If you answered "yes" to either of the above questions, then this is an event for you! One of our 'sister' meet-ups posted this event and Gay was on the waitlist, so she decided just to do it at her house in Gallatin (closer, too :)! She'll have some beverages (alcohol and non-alcohol) and a few snacks. If you would like to bring an appetizer to share it's welcome, but not necessary.
What to bring:
• Bring between 5-20 pieces of jewelry you that you no longer wear but are still in good condition; necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, anklets, etc. All colors, shapes, sizes, and styles are welcome! Remember you will be swapping your jewelry for FREE, so you might want to leave any pricey pieces at home. Also, if you don't have enough jewelry, consider nice scarves, belts, or other accessories that you think someone might find fabulous!
• Optional: A drink or snack to share. How it works: • Each person draws a number to determine who “shops” first. • Each person has the option to either shop or steal when it is their turn. • An item can only be stolen twice. • The person who the item was originally stolen from cannot steal back that item. • When there was nothing left on the table you wanted, you would drop out of the game. • All the leftover pieces would be donated or each person could take back what they brought. If you find out that you will not be able to attend, please update your RSVP so that someone else may attend in your place. The party will not be as much fun if 10 people RSVP, but only 3 show up!
