Now that summertime is over and we settle into the rhythm of kids back in school and most vacations behind us, let's get together and try a paper arts meetup on a weekday evening. For this meetup we will make a mini manila folder album that can serve as a standalone mini album or serve as a signature in a larger album utilizing a hidden hinge binding.
Supplies needed to attend:
• paper trimmer
• 1/4" double sided adhesive tape
• a quick drying liquid adhesive such as Scotch quick dry tacky glue, Beacon quick grip clear glue, or any other brand you prefer, just recommend a quick grip glue that will dry clear.
• scoring tool (if you don't have one, there will be one available to share)
How you decorate your mini album and/or should you choose to use it as a signature for a larger album is your choice but you are welcome to bring inks, stamps and embellishments to decorate your pages. The mini album should take about 30 minutes to complete from start to finish (minus embellishing it).
We will then make a hidden hinge that can be placed into a chipboard album that allows you to insert pages or your mini album which will accommodate for items such as pockets, tags and other embellishments that require more room to expand.
