What do you like to write?

I like to write stories for kids that are usually about spirits or ghosts. I also like to write about kids overcoming physical challenges. I've started a story about my own experience of getting into a motorcycle accident, being in a coma for 6 months, and having to relearn everything. Mostly, though, I like to write fiction.

How do you feel about reading other people's writing and providing feedback?

I love to read other peoples writing and provide positive feedback. I'd love to help someone else reach their dream of becoming a published author.

Hi. My wife, Krissy and I are both in our 40s and are aspiring writers. I've written several short stories for kids and a few for adults. We know that we still have a lot to learn, but we love the art of writing.

What Kurt is saying about this Meetup Group

Since I am the organizer and a bit biased, I think I'll just say it's a great group and I hope more people attend the meetings. But I do personally enjoy everyone there because everyone wants to achieve an it feels great
