I am an avid "gentle" hiker, just spent Memorial Day traipsing around Plum Island (gorgeous, btw) and hope to see some of the North Shore sights as I have always been a South Shore gal
As I said, just spent Memorial Day on Plum Island - it was a wonderful time and I barely hit all the spots (bit of a birder, too) - would think the group would love the variety there: paths, shoreline, wooded areas.
As I am unfamiliar with the North Shore, I am thinking this would be unwise - hate to get ya'll lost!
Sure, depending on my schedule
This is a great group of people, the venues are beautiful and the hikes are a good pace and not too strenuous.
I can lead a Beverly Conservation Lands walk in Beverly Commons. It is located at the end of Greenwood Ave. in Beverly Farms. People should park at the base of Stoneridge Rd. at the end of the paved part of Greenwood Ave. I can do this any Saturday or Sunday in early May.
Hi Victoria, I'm looking forward to hiking- sounds fun.
Best wishes in the coming year.
Hi Victoria! Welcome to our group. How wonderful that you're willing to help others get started. We have a new member who wants to learn to crochet. I'm learning to knit, myself. It's slow, but I'm getting there. Working on a basketweave scarf now... just finished a shawl.
I look forward to meeting you.
