The concert band I play in will have their last concert of the season at Lynch Park. If you have never been the Lynch Park, it is a beautiful area with a hat shell where we play. Make sure you bring chairs to sit on as there is only grass in front of the hat shell.
The band plays a wide variety of music. Some of the pieces we have been working on this season include: Gaelic Rhapsody, Benny Goodman, The Summit, The Last Rose (with an amazing saxophone solo from one of my colleagues), Jersey Boys Highlights, and Who's that Masked Man?, which includes songs from the Lone Ranger, Spider Man, The Phantom of the Opera, and Zorro.
The concert is free and will be weather permitting.
