Antique & Classic Car Show
Have an antique or classic car tucked away in your garage? Enter that beauty in the Antique & Classic Car Show. Who knows, our judges may give you a prize. Vehicles will be on display on Sanborn Street and in the parking lot for the Knights of Columbus from Noon until 3:00pm. Contact Steve Goldy to register.
Fall Street 5k Road Race
About Our Race
The Fall Street Five-K is part of the larger Reading Fall Street Faire, a non-profit community event. As part of the Faire, the Fall Street Five-K is a wholesome, community-based road race. The race and the Faire are functions of the Town of Reading’s Downtown Improvement and Events Trust, which supports ongoing funding for the Faire and economic development projects in the Town.
Where & When
The race starts at 10:00 AM on Sunday, September 8, 2013. The race begins and ends at Washington Park. There will be an awards ceremony at Washington Park immediately after the race. At 12:00 PM, the Fall Street Faire starts in the downtown area. The Faire ends at 5:00 PM.
Registration & Bib Pickup
Before Race Day: You can register online here Online registration closes at 5:00 PM on September 7th. You can pickup your bib number and registration package on Saturday, September 7th at the Reading Athletic Club (1 General Way, Phone:[masked]) from 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Register early to ensure you get a t-shirt.
On Race Day: You can register in person via cash or check and pickup your bib at Washington Park from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
Parking & Directions
Take Exit 38B from I-95 and head North on Route 28. Proceed for about 1.5 miles. Take a left onto Washington Street at McDonald's. Stay to the left and proceed over the train tracks on Washington Street. Park in the MBTA lots, at the Parker Middle School on Temple Street, the RAC, or any surrounding side streets. Event staff and signage will be present to guide you if you are unfamiliar with the area.

The 2013 Reading Fall Street Faire will feature a wide range of entertainment. Past Faires have included local bands, performance groups such as the Reading Community Singers and Reading Symphony Orchestra, strolling minstrels and characters.
The Committee welcomes inquiries from Reading groups or individuals interested in performing on one of our stages; please contact us at [masked].
There will be all sorts of fun amusements for the kids. From bouncy houses and obstacle course to a rodeo pumpkin and rock climbing wall, we'll have every age group covered. Individual tickets will be $1 and wristbands for all amusements will be $20.
