SATURDAY 10 AM HIKE BREAKHEART - Voke Wakefield Side

Hi Ladies:

I am going on a hike this Saturday at Breakheart.  There are some great trails here and we can pick based on how long you ladies would like to go.

We will meet at 9:45 at the bench to left right inside the gate, and leave promptly at 10.

Hike is for all levels, hiking boots are recommended but if you don't have them sneakers will work.  I use a hiking stick, you don't have to have one or can grab a stick along the way.

What to bring:  bug spray, sun glasses if needed, water.

Let's get out and get some fresh air and play in the woods!

Hi Ladies, thanks for your mails and feedback, we will do the lower lake trail. it is pretty easy to follow and those that want to move on quicker...can do so pretty easily by following the lake. Glad I sparked interest in so many of you and hope to schedule more hikes this fall at different locations.

Eventually, I will get back into hiking, but after doing the Inca Trail for 4 days last year or so, I lost my enthusiasm for it. I am working on doing Mt Fuji in Japan in 2015 which means I have to get back into it again. I will be 70 then.

I don't know how much I can do but with the cool weather should be able to do whatever u choose. We can always increase if we do it regularly

    Sue,

I think 1 hour should be just the right amount of time.

I am going to pole the group and ask what they would like to do......there is a really nice hike that is only 45 min. long, another that is maybe 1.5 and yet another about 2. Whatever the members are up for is good with me.....the shorter on is right off of the parking lot (wakefield side) and is around lower lake, passes by the beach as well....we can add a little bit on by going up to the high rock that looks over the beach.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
