We are a fun loving "circle of friends", we are non judgmental, a group that is accepting of everyone... best described as loose collared, casual ladies, who like to kick back and have fun
It’s time to make some time for yourself, find that sense of belonging with other women and even harder, find a group with similar interest. It’s time try something new with some new friends and begin being a better you that is every one’s ultimate goal! If you are interested in meeting some fun, friendly, caring, down to earth ladies, this is a great group for you to join.
We have a wide range of activities/interest such as: Dinners, Game Nights, Comedy Nights, Charity Volunteer, picnics, fundraisers, walking, hiking, book club, etc.

Do you have a venue, activity, or other idea for a meet up? This group will allow you to share your passion and interest. Each person is responsible for their add to the mix, if you craft feel free to schedule a craft event, etc. I want people to come together and share their talents. To post an event, please email the organizer and ask to become an assistant organizer. No solicitations without prior approval. Anything that looks to be a scam or has feedback on google as being interpreted as a scam will be removed immediately.
WHEN ATTENDING A MEETUP ....THERE IS A CHANCE THAT IT MAY BE A SMALL GROUP, BE AWARE SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO ASK IS THIS THE MEETUP GROUP. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THAT WHEN YOU SIGN UP FOR A MEETUP. THE LARGER GROUPS ARE EASIER TO FIND. SOMETIMES THERE WILL NOT BE AN ORGANIZER AND IT'S UP TO YOU TO NOTE WHO IS ATTENDING AND FIND THE GROUP. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION IN THIS MATTER:)
Your privacy is important....therefore we do not allow SPAM,unsolicited emails of any kind or gathering of members information, they are grounds for removal from the group.
And unfortunately we have to address NO-SHOW'S
No-shows are a problem for all meetup groups, not just ours.......The way I think of this is...think of the event you are attending as meeting your girlfriends, you wouldn't no show on a friend would you? It's that simple, be considerate of the host and the other guest awaiting your arrival:) With that being said we have to have a policy ---2 no shows - you will be removed from the group. Please also try to leave ample time (48 hrs. is recommended) for someone else to be able to take your spot, as we often run into situations where we have a wait list:)
If you have to contact an event host you can do so via the event, click on their profile picture and you can email them from there.
Want to bring a friend to an event? We would love to meet your friends and we always welcome new members, kindly ask them to join the group with you:)
If you would like upload a photo when you join, it will help us meet and mingle easier at events and put a name with a face and this group is all about friends, this is a great way for us to get to know you, if not please put a picture of something you like that will also help us relate to you. I encourage you to also add 5 things you would like us to know about you.

Grounds for removal from the group: Threatening behavior to any members or organizers, solicitation of good/services that have not been approved by the Organizer of the group.
Indemity Agreement: By joining our meetup group you agree to hold the North Shore Women's Group and it's organizer, Sue Collins, and Co-organizers free from liability or responsibility what so ever with regard to any negligent or intentional conduct of any third party including but not limited to Restaurants, Lounges, Social Venues, Tour Groups, Bus Company, Travel Agency, Hotels, Cruise Lines, Air Lines, Bowling Alleys, Movie Theatres and other meetup venues, etc., resulting in the loss of personal property, physical injury, monetary loss with regard to an event/meetup. In signing up, paying and attending any of our listed events you are in agreement to the above. If you rsvp a guest to the event they are also in agreement to the Indemity Agreement stated above.
By joining the group you are in agreement that you may be included in photographs taken on location during trips and that these pictures may be shared on social media.
I AM ALSO POSTING MEETUPS RELEASE, IN JOINING NORTH SHORE WOMEN'S GROUP YOU ALSO AGREE TO MEETUPS RELEASE AS FOLLOWS: Release. Because we do not supervise or control the Meetup Group Meetings or interactions among or between members of Meetup Groups or Meetup Everywheres and other persons or companies, and because we are not involved in any way with physical transportation to or from Meetup Meetings or with the actions of any individuals at Meetup Meetings, and because we do not control Amazon.com, PayPal, credit card companies or other payment processing companies, and because we cannot guarantee the true identity, age, 3.3(b) (Meetup Everywhere Fees; New Meetup Everywhere Activation Fees), nationality of Platform users, and because we have very limited control, if any, over the quality, safety, morality, legality, truthfulness or accuracy of various aspects of the Platform you agree that you bear all risk and you agree to release us (and our officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, and third party partners) and Organizers and Creators or Hosts and their designees from claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, now and in the future, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform, your Third Party Transactions, our resolution of any disputes among users, and/or your transportation to or from, attendance at, or the actions of you or other persons at, a Meetup Gathering. You further waive any and all rights and benefits otherwise conferred by any statutory or non-statutory law of any jurisdiction that would purport to limit the scope of a release or waiver. You waive and relinquish all rights and benefits which you have or may have under Section 1542 of the Civil Code of the State of Massachusetts or any similar provision of the statutory or non-statutory law of any other jurisdiction (including without limitation the states of all states), to the full extent that you may lawfully waive all such rights and benefits.
