We are a fun loving "circle of friends", we are non judgemental, a group that is accepting of everyone and here to reach out to eachother and make some true friendships. I would best describe us as loose collared, casual jeans and sneaker type of ladies, who like to kick back and have fun. Drama free.....PLEASE LEAVE THE DRAMA AT HOME, if you insist on drama you will be removed from the group!
It is time to make some time for yourself, find that sense of belonging with other women and even harder, find a group with similar interest. Or try something new with a new group and begin being a better you, that is our ultimate goal! If you are intersted in meeting some friendly, fun, caring, down to earth ladies, this will be a great meet up group for you.
We have a wide range of activities/interest such as: TRAVEL (any travel solicitations MUST be approved by the organizer, and run via the Women's Travel Group), Foxwood Casino, Comedy Clubs, Canobie Lake Park, day trips, visiting local beaches or seaching out a new one, picnics, lunches/brunches, game nights at a local restaurant, participating in local fund raisers/charities, jet ski rentals, miniature golf, bowling, shooting pool, walking, hiking, geocaching, biking, workout partners, book club, learn a new hobby, attend local sporting events, off roading (by no means our vehicles), anything active, social and fun!
IMPORTANT: ALL TRAVEL MUST BE ORGANIZED VIA THE WOMEN'S TRAVEL GROUP! NO EXCEPTIONS. WE MAY POST TRIPS HERE BUT ALL RSVP'S MUST BE VIA THE WOMEN'S TRAVEL GROUP.
If any of these activities interest you, come join us and make some new friends. Do you have a venue, activity, or other idea for a meet up? This group will allow you to share your passion and interest. Each person is responsible for their add to the mix, if you craft feel free to schedule a craft event, etc. I want people to come together and share their talents. To post an event, please email the organizer and ask to become an assistant organizer. No solicitations without prior approval. Anything that looks to be a scam or has feedback on google as being interpreted as a scam will be removed immediately.
We ask that each of you contribute to the success of this group by encouraging participation and remaining active by RSVP-ing YES, NO or MAYBE on our website at least once in a three month period, or you may be dropped from the meetup group.

9/12/10: UNFORTUNATELY we have had to change or attendace policy to the following:
Members who RSVP ‘yes’ but fail to show (a 'no-show') AFTER 2ND NO SHOW will be removed from the group.
Members must call Sue (978) 815-0258 to cancel when they change their RSVP to 'no' 48 hours before an event. Failing to do so will result in removal from the group.
Due to the size of our group we have had to eliminate plus ones on some meetups. We recommend you have your friends join our meetup so they can rsvp when meetups are posted.
We've set these guidelines out of fairness to other members who can't attend an event when it fills up, as well as out of basic courtesy to the organizers, restaurants and fellow members who are expecting you.
NOTE: The above attendance policy will be reinforced at the discrection of the GROUP ORGANIZER,
EFFECTIVE 1/1/11: We will now start charging FEES for events, fees will vary but usually $1.00 or $2.00 per person per meetup fee will be applicable. PLEASE read the event thoroughly to see whether the event/meetup is subject to this fee. Fee will be waived for some smaller meetups (ie knitting, bridge). These fees are collected by the Organizer of the event. If you don't wish to pay a fee you may want to consider skipping the event.
Events paid for via Paypal: my paypal account name is "you must remember this" if you see this in your paypal receipts it is for this group.
If your choice of payment was PAYPAL and an event is cancelled after 60 days, you will be responsible for the original paypas fee, not the organizer (Paypal will not let you do a refund after 60 days - Paypal charge is at that point not refundable).
If you would like upload a photo when you join, it will help us meet and mingle easier at events and put a name with a face and this group is all about friends, this is a great way for us to get to know you, if not please put a picture of something you like that will also help us relate to you. I encourage you to also add 5 things you would like us to know about you.
Grounds for removal from the group: Threatening behavior to any members or organizers, solicitation of good/services/trips, that have not been approved by the Organizer, Sue Collins.
Indemity Agreement: By joining our meetup group you agree to hold the North Shore Women's Group and it's organizer, Sue Collins, and Co-organizers free from liability or responsibility what so ever with regard to any negligent or intentional conduct of any third party including but not limited to Restaurants, Lounges, Social Venues, Tour Groups, Bus Company, Travel Agency, Hotels, Cruise Lines, Air Lines, Bowling Alleys, Movie Theatres and other meetup venues, etc., resulting in the loss of personal property, physical injury, monetary loss with regard to an event/meetup. In signing up, paying and attending any of our listed evnets you are in agreement to the above. If you rsvp a guest to the event they are also in agreement to the Indemity Agreement stated above.
I AM ALSO POSTING MEETUPS RELEASE, IN JOINING NORTH SHORE WOMEN'S GROUP YOU ALSO AGREE TO MEETUPS RELEASE AS FOLLOWS: Release. Because we do not supervise or control the Meetup Group Meetings or interactions among or between members of Meetup Groups or Meetup Everywheres and other persons or companies, and because we are not involved in any way with physical transportation to or from Meetup Meetings or with the actions of any individuals at Meetup Meetings, and because we do not control Amazon.com, PayPal, credit card companies or other payment processing companies, and because we cannot guarantee the true identity, age, 3.3(b) (Meetup Everywhere Fees; New Meetup Everywhere Activation Fees), nationality of Platform users, and because we have very limited control, if any, over the quality, safety, morality, legality, truthfulness or accuracy of various aspects of the Platform you agree that you bear all risk and you agree to release us (and our officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, and third party partners) and Organizers and Creators or Hosts and their designees from claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, now and in the future, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform, your Third Party Transactions, our resolution of any disputes among users, and/or your transportation to or from, attendance at, or the actions of you or other persons at, a Meetup Gathering. You further waive any and all rights and benefits otherwise conferred by any statutory or non-statutory law of any jurisdiction that would purport to limit the scope of a release or waiver. You waive and relinquish all rights and benefits which you have or may have under Section 1542 of the Civil Code of the State of California or any similar provision of the statutory or non-statutory law of any other jurisdiction (including without limitation the states of Missouri, Delaware and Pennsylvania) to the full extent that you may lawfully waive all such rights and benefits.
