And the good news is there arn't many, steps that is. I'll go up on one of my servers and do:

1. a scripted install at Bluehost

2. a manual install on a server

3. install on a local machine, PC

If anyone wants to get started with some videos on intro to WP and installations, WP101 has some good free videos and more for subscribers. This and Lynda. com would be excellent resources. If you like textbook references, Creativeedge is also nice and has thousands in many different categories.

Your organizer's refund policy for A WordPress Install - Step by Step

Additional notes: The charge is more of a donation than a fee. I'll never charge anything to RSVP to this Meetup so there's really no need for a refund policy. The suggested donation is to help offset out of pockect expenses for this site ($180 Year) and our meeting room.

Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
