North Tampa Chamber of Commerce has decided to open a Meetup Group to reach more of the population that uses social media sites to locate real meetings and opportunities to meet with local business owners and build relationships in the Tampa Bay area. Acceptance to our Meetup group is not acceptance to North Tampa Chamber. Our meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to come visit chamber meetups for information regarding North Tampa Chamber itself. Otherwise, come network with local businesses. Our membership provides many opportunities for: Involvement in the community -- Be it involvement with students at local schools, helping a Children's Home, recognizing our dedicated public safety officers, event participation for a worthy cause, or promoting beautification of North Tampa; the Chamber offers its members the opportunity to give back to the community. Join us and help make our community a better place to live and thrive. Monthly speakers -- At the general meeting each month, speakers address topics of economic interest, social well being, business skills and other subjects of interest to members. Advertising -- The Newsletter is published monthly on line. Members can advertise in the newsletter, receiving international exposure on the website to those inquiring about this area and the businesses within. Widely distributed Community Guide features the chamber member directory and offers advertising opportunities. Promotional materials are distributed in new member packets, in mailings, at meetings and other events. Member directory on the website offers links to your website and email address plus an info icon to provide even more data about your business. Group email for members to exchange information and promote their business or organization. Business Development and Networking -- The Chamber has a wide array of members whose expertise includes banking, art, accounting, computers, pets, law, public safety, recreation, consulting, medical alternatives and much more. Group email provides the opportunity to communicate with other Chamber members on a weekly basis to provide general info about your products, services, sales, special events. Monthly networking events provide a platform to promote your business and distribute information. Member Business of the Month is recognized in the newsletter and at meetings. Member to member discounts are offered. Friends -- What an opportunity to get to know and build relationships with others who reside and do business in the North Tampa area. You can make acquaintances; meet interesting persons and open doors you may have never imagined. Website -- Our Website provides in depth information about activities, membership, community involvement. Links are provided to member websites and email addresses. Daily inquiries are received from visitors, persons relocating, and those generally looking for information about the area. Call or e-mail for details, answers to your questions or for general information. You'll meet friendly business colleagues dedicated to enhancing the Tampa communities where we live and work.
