I'm a beginner, but love the outdoors and want to learn more about horses. I'm also new in town and looking to meet new people!

If anyone does not want to do the beginner ride, I will ride along with the intermediate group. I think we can decide this once we get there as well.

I signed up for the intermediate ride when I made my reservation.

For the morning ride we are now booked full, so I have closed the RSVP. All people currently RSVP'd are also confirmed directly with the ranch as requested. Thank you for following that direction.

As of Saturday there were still slots available for the noon and afternoon rides on Oct 6th. If you still want to go, you can call and book directly with the ranch. If you do and want to let others know, please feel free to add a comment here.

There are many people listed as going, but i heard with the ranch that only 13 have confirmed. This is very important, you MUST confirm directly with the ranch to actually be counted and confirmed. In about a week i will reconcile the lists, so please call the ranch today if you want to go. There are 3 spots left for anyone else who wants to go.

I called a couple of weeks ago and told them I was NTO to reserved. They told me to bring cash on the date.

I have requested a list of names who they have reserved. They should have that list to me later this weekend. Once I get it I will update the reserved list and determine what spots are left and who may have not reserved their spot.

Sounds like lots of fun. I will be a beginner rider. I look forward to meeting everyone.

I called and they do not charge to bring your own horse. They do request that you let them know ahead of time so they can arrange trailer parking. I may be able to make it but am 50/50 so not RSVP'ing YES just yet. Two of my friends have horses so if I make it, they may come with there own horse. This looks like a really exciting event. Hope I can make it in the end.

Kib and Bethany - 37 people! Wow! Are you ready for this? When you said 'horseback riding will be fun' you weren't kidding. Let me know how it goes (PICTURES PLS). You kids be careful out there.

So what if you've never gone horseback riding? Is this for the experienced only?

just a reminder that everyone needs to make their own reservation by calling Jana @ the ranch (website above). I just made mine and Jana told me that she only has 2 other reservations under this group so far.

Thank you Sandy for pointing that out. We have 26 people listed as attending, but the group ride is limited to 16. Please make sure you call the ranch directly to reserve your spot. Once it fills up, there is an option for additional times that day.

This will be a lead trail ride on docile horses who are trained to stay in line and on the trail so no skill is required. Just wear jeans and appropriate shoes/boots.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
