I would like to hike Cross Timbers. Is there a place to rent cabins to stay overnight? Or can people choose to do a day hike out here and not spend the night?

    John,

If I use my GPS and get to the Juniper Point trailhead, I guess I should be able to meet the group there, right? Or will I need to park somewhere and walk to trailhead? (May be a stupid question but I have never done this before! )

I was going to bring a little whiskey . I have to add a pole dancer now since its your birthday.

    October 29, 2012

  • Scott

if i carry in 18 beers, do you think that will be enough for the night? For those that haven'e been on this trip here is your fair warning, sometime we stay up late and party till all booze is gone. And we like to eat well on this trip, and water lots of water because we will all be dehydrated in the morning. It will be my birthday weekend so bring hundred dollar bills for gifts...... Just saying....

    1 · October 29, 2012

  • Eric

Daylight savings time ends on Sunday morning; Looks like we get an extra hour to party! ;-)
