World's Tallest Rock Climbing Gym

Have you ever noticed the white grain silos in downtown Carrolton? Well there is a climbing gym inside! And it houses the world's tallest indoor climbing route. I've been going for over a month now and love it. The staff is really cool and the gym is unique to say the least. There are routes for all skill levels.

Forgot to mention this earlier, but the gym is NOT climate controlled. Dress warmly.

I know this was kinda last minute, but since living social has the deal going now i figured what-the-heck, might as well. Patricia and I bought a groupon for a membership for the next couple of months, so we go fairly regularly. If others are interested, we will probably post several more depending on turnout. Otherwise, bring a friend and join us anytime. Also Babe's Chicken is just around the corner!

I gotta work. Otherwise I'd come check it out. Oklahoma City has a good gym also.

The Blanton grain towers have been around forever and attained a certain infamy in the80's and 90's with the rise and fall of Rev. Tilton's Tele-Evangalist mega-church. Tilton was pretty much run out of town after investigations closed over a multitude of personal/family drama and bilking of little old ladies for all of their money. Tilton and now lives in Miami Florida.
The rock climbing gym has been there for maybe a decade+ now? The new paint job is looking good.

$15 for a climbing day pass is a real deal in a place like that. No drive or weather considerations another plus. Looks like they are the people to talk to about rock climbing too with lots of development programs and some cool trips.
