This group is designed for mature women in the north valley from North Scottsdale to Peoria to enjoy lunches, shopping trips, happy hours, movies, activities, outdoor get-togethers, and more. Our goal is to find life-long friends not just attend meetup events. Many of us are new to the valley or are in transition from working to retirement, full nest to empty nest, or are just wanting to find fun ladies to make our social lives more active and meaningful. I'd like to see women who want to be kind, sensitive, and supportive of each other join this group. Life is too short not to fill it with laughter and hugs of encouragement to our friends. I am planning to have meetups during the weekdays, weekday evening, and on the weekends each month. I know everyone won't be able to come to every meetup, but I would hope that if you join, you would plan to come to at least one meetup per month. I think it is important for each member to rsvp either yes or no to each event and to check the website several times per month to check on new events. For my part, I will try to vary the places we go and the location of our events. I will also listen to members and if I can't plan an event, I will ask for someone to be an "event planner" and help me out. Some events will be free or just require you to bring something while others will just be an inexpensive lunch. However, some events might be more expensive, like theater, concert, or game tickets. Friends are out there waiting to meet you. My job is to help you find them! In doing so, I hope to find friends of my own to enjoy!!
