Weekly Sunday Afternoon Game Gathering

We are a group of people who like to get together on Thursday nights (6:00 at IHOP) and Sunday afternoons (1:00 - 6:00 at Madison Square mall) to socialize over board games. We play a wide variety of games (look at our games played discussions) so there is sure to be one that suits your tastes. Most games can be taught in about 5 minutes so everyone can join in the fun without feeling lost for long.

Come join us, you'll be glad you did. We meet at the eastern side of the food court. Southern entrance to the mall, next to Dillards, is the easiest way to the food court.

Unfortunately, most people do not RSVP so it is not a good indicator of the number of people who will actually show up at a meetup. Look at the past meetups for a better indicator of the number of people who will attend.

Welcome, Avinash, to your 1st meetup. There’s a wide variety of games so please come back even if killing zombies or psionics is not your cup of tea. Gil, John B, John R, John S & Michael played Colonia. Everyone was relatively close together. But John R managed to beat out Gil, the reigning champion, by a single point. Unbelievably, John R was able to snag the 2-point stained glass with a single dollar because no one else had any green currency at game end. Gil still would’ve won if John S had not shipped 2 T-shirts before Gil could do it. The backstabbing appears to run strong among the Johns. At other tables, Magic the Gathering, Psi Guild, Stone Age & Zombicide were played.

Sure. We had a father who brought a son and a daughter around your son's age for a while and they fit right in. RSVP when you can attend so I can look for you & your son. Have your son take a look at our Games Played discussion to see the vast amount of games we play.

My son is 14 years old. I've been looking for a board game group for him. He plays Chess, Axis & Allies and Settlers of Catan. My husband and I play with him, but quite honestly I'm awful at it. Can he come and visit your group?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
