Take a ride and enjoy some beautiful scenery! Approx 25 miles

As always this event is posted on other Meetup sites, so it's a good way to meet new people.  New to you, that is.

We'll ride out the scenic Santa Rosa Creek Trail (paved) and skirt Sebastopol to make a stop for some wine tasting.  From there it's on to the wee town of Graton in Western Sonoma County (don't blink), where we'll have lunch.  Then we'll ride a more remote portion of the Joe Rodota Trail (paved) and make a 2nd wine tasting stop.  From there we'll ride some fairly remote (read scenic) West County roads and make a stop at Ragle Ranch Park in Sebastopol for a beautiful view of the valley.  We'll return to Santa Rosa along the Joe Rodota Connector Trail, passing the mustard fields (in bloom) between Sebastopol and Santa Rosa.  The forecast is for good weather, and this will be a another beautiful ride.  There will be a couple hills, though not really tough ones.  You can do it!

What to bring:

Have your bike tuned and ready to ride.

Top off your tires the day/eve before.

Helmet suggested, though not required.

Sunscreen, hat.

Pack a lunch, or you can buy one at the deli along the way.

1-2 liters of water.

A jovial outlook!

Your sense of humour is required!

I was wrong. The mustard fields ARE in bloom. I road that section of the ride yesterday and it was beautiful.

Stacey - members have ridden road bikes on this ride, and I have a buddy who's riding a hybrid. I always post if road bikes are necessary, which is typically the longer rides (40-50 mi).

Yes. That's what I ride. All my rides are on paved roads/trails.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
