How about a paddle form buckthorn down past raven rock? ( :
Aloha Tom! Great to have you join. Hope you come down for our get together in May. Have fun paddling!
Tom, just learned of this (Midnight, 3/6-3/7) and wanted to pass it on to everyone but not sure how to do it. Perhaps you know?
Court ruling out of New York that canoeists can paddle rivers that pass through private land. Let's hope this spreads like butter on hot bagels. http://www.canoekayak.com/canoe/paddl...![]()

sounds good for me. I have good woolen socks and all the rest, and if its windy and cold, I tend to hug the shore a bit anyway,
so glad to hear that. I have noooo interested in jumping logs where I could fly head first into a tree. Riding the quiet and soft dirt trails and being able to at least glimpse around as I do so, is my objective. As to cold weather gear for kayaking....mmm
mm. I have warm woolen clothes and I have my scuba diving gear but am not officially outfitted for wet exits into the cold waters. I'm pretty stable in most kayaks but if that's a requirement, let me know what sorts of gear you suggest? Jeannie
one more thought...I'm not really that experienced at all with mountain biking other than riding on the back roads of maine for years and have just started riding trails which I love. so I'll look for easy rides that are scheduled as well and for that I do have my own bike. Jeannie
Hi Tom, thanks for your message and I'm thrilled you have extra kayaks to share. I should have brought my kayak down with me from maine but my car was so jammed packed with stuff as it was. I would be delighted to borrow one of yours and will look forward to future kayak trips. Jeannie
Hi Tom! Not sure if we've met or not already. I'm usually a "barnacle" at CPC, but just not sure if you and I have crossed paths. I'll be doing a lot of surfing meetups, and while the water is warm is certainly the time to try it. Racing will be pretty darn warm until Sept, when the temps cool off. But either way, I am so stoked that you're enjoying your board. IT'S AWESOME!!!!
Tom, welcome to Carolina Bushcraft!
Hi Tom - just was your message. We DO have men in our group - and many at different fitness levels. You are welcomed to come on out and meet us and see if our workouts will help you. It's free with no committments or contracts - so hopefully we can find something that fits and that you enjoy.
