Introduction
Hi, pretty active member in THOG but I'll go wherever people are enjoying the great outdoors.
What do you hope to get from this Meetup?
Lots of being outside and seeing some new places I've never been
What is your outdoor experience?
More of a weekend warrior, do plenty of hikes and bike a bit. Need some more experience on water and ice.
Are you interested in organizing for NCO? The group thrives from active organizers and we appreciate your support.
I can, I'm already an organizer for another group of similar theme, I don't mind cross posting if you guys don't care.
What are your favorite hiking or camping locations in the area?
Eno and Umstead for good hiking but my favorite park by far is Crabtree just from its versatility. I haven't done much camping locally, but I hear Uwharrie is good practice grounds for the AT.
