Introduction
Hi my name is Rusty. I've recently retire from the Raleigh Fire Department and look forward to making new and interesting friends.
What do you hope to get from this Meetup?
Meet new and interesting people. Seek out new hiking adventures in our area and around the State.
What is your outdoor experience?
Fairly limited...Mostly day hikes in local parks, but I have an interest in expanding my abilities.
Are you interested in organizing for NCO? The group thrives from active organizers and we appreciate your support.
Not at this time, perhaps in the future.
What are your favorite hiking or camping locations in the area?
Umstead, Lake Johnson, various Raleigh Greenway locations. Raven Rock

Next week, Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, our hike will be at Bolin Creek Chapel Hill. We will meet in the Wilson Park parking area at 9:00 AM to do a nice 7 - 9 mile hike .
Again bring your water and lunch and we hope for continued nice weather as we have been so fortunate to have been enjoying this winter. -
