This is a very cool hike that will lead us to the Cedar Creek Waterfall. This is a great spot to go for a swim or even do a little cliff jumping. Should be getting pretty warm by this time of year, so bring lots of water. I have this hike starting from Ramona Oaks Rd, which makes it a hike of only a few miles, but we may change the starting point to the eastern entrance which will make it a bit longer. I will notify you in advance.
We should carpool from the Target on Auto Parkway and W. Valley Pkwy at 7:30, that way we can stay together. Call me if you are running late or if I am [masked]).
See you out there!
Jim
Fun group of people.

Fun hike, moderate difficulty (at least on the way back), friendly group, and plenty of sun and scenic views. Lot of foot traffic on the trail and at the destination (Cedar Creek Falls). Bring plenty of water and remember to pack out what you pack in. Definitely worth a return visit.

Excited for my first group event! Willing to help drive carpool/gear haul for anybody coming back 3PM-ish.

What seems to work best for carpooling is to figure out which cars will be coming back early, which ones will be coming back later, and which ones are planning on partying in Ramona late into the night. I think I am somewhere in the middle. We will figure this out at the carpool site. If you are driving yourself, plan on about an hour to get out there, a few hours for the hike, and an hour back.

When do we expect to be back? If we're back by 3PM, then I'm in.
