This is a fun little hike. It's not too strenuous, but you can get your heart pumping if you push it a little. This hike has an elevation gain of over a thousand feet over 3 miles (6 miles round trip). The views are great all the way up, but once you get to the top it's even more awesome. You can see Catalina island to the west and the valleys to the east.
Trailhead: Trail head is located on Highway 67 at Poway Road. On the east side of the road. There is a small gravel parking area on the side of the highway.
Note that this is an INTERMEDIATE and moderately strenuous hike. This trail has switch backs and is slightly elevated.
There are portable toilets are located at the entrance but noting along the trail.
See you out there!
