We're a low-key and unpretentious lot! Come meet fellow future friends near you in a stress-free and non-threatening environment! Enjoy a local social group where you meet new people, strengthen friendships and enjoy memorable times of drink, food and conversation.
Unlike other "wine/social" groups, this is not a "professional networking" group with a soft-sell marketing agenda. Our agenda is simply to have a good time with quality people (go figure!)
If you're a teetotaler and would prefer to just come for the social angle that's fine too as at some level the wine is just an excuse to come together to socialize. Most events will be in the North County coastal area but not exclusively. We may schedule periodic events at more remote locations (e.g. downtown, Orange County, Temecula, etc.) as well as special events with other similar groups. While most of our events will be wine-centric in some way we're not religious about it! The key thing for this group and our activities is that there is a social angle.
We're a non-discriminatory social group (not to be confused with "singles-only", "couples-only", et al) and welcome adults of all ages/backgrounds. Single, partnered, kids, no kids, 20s, 30s, 40s, 80s, whatever - doesn't matter. What does matter, however, is you're up-front and genuine, considerate of people's time, and otherwise believe in "The Golden Rule", treating everyone with respect.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR NEW MEMBERS
Although we try our best to notice new members and introduce them to the group we don't always succeed as we're trying to balance hosting duties with fun (none of us get paid to do this). Please do not be shy about introducing yourself! Be assured that we are a friendly group and do not bite!
NO A-HOLE TOLERANCE POLICY!
Be advised that we don't tolerate behavior that's unwelcome in a friendly social setting. Lewd/predatory behavior will be the fastest way to get booted from our group and blacklisted. Please inform the organizers of any such issues as we will deal with it.
Suggestions/help/advice/concerns are always welcome!
