Margarita Ball planning meeting

As some of you may or may not know the party of the year, the "Margarita Ball" is rapidly approaching (November 10th!) and I know some of you are thinking about how to get a ticket to this awesome event!

But first for those of you who are not familiar with what is both the biggest social event in Dallas every year & one of the largest charity black tie events in the world! Here's how it works...

Every year the Dallas Margarita Society puts on a charity gala that benefits the Dallas Childrens Charities organization in the form of bringing in thousands of toys so under priviledged/at-risk kids who wouldn't otherwise have a christmas get a gift this year! Hence the reason for the Margarita Ball!

This event is attended every year by over 10,000 members/guests/& sponsors from all over the metroplex in what is one awesome party of the year! The Margarita ball features two floors of live music until 2am, casino night games, a huge silent auction table, oh and upon admission free Margaritas!!!

So how do you get into this awesome party???

Tickets are not for sale, you have to get an invite!

For us there are only two ways to get an invite!

The first being you essentially have to be friends with a Margarita Society member or have the ability to "charm" one into giving you an invite at a Margarita Society happy        hour.

The second way is to become a become a sponsor!

The Margarita Society offers several sponsorship packages. However the best deal for us would be the Platinum package ($1,000.00) which would not only entitle us to 20 tickets ($1,000.00/ 20 people @ $50 each =20 tickets) but also extra drink tokens incase Margarita's aren't your drink of choice & access to the coveted VIP area! So if we can get 20 people together to pool our money $50 each we can all get ourselves into the ball!

So for those of you who don't already know a member & don't want to bother with the game of flirting with a random Margarita Society guy for an invite. I suggest we become sponsors!

I have been to six Margarita ball's now along with several other of their events over the past several years & I can attest these guys do know how to throw a party!

If you're interested come out & join us for Coffee on Saturday Oct 27th 11am at Dunn Bros so we can plan how we can pull our efforts & funds together for one awesome party!

Getting in on this deal will be first come, first serve as last year I had over 30 people who wanted in on this package. So if you can't make the planning session make sure & let me if know you are interested with an e-mail to reserve your spot!

So as the Maragarita Society says lets get together & "party with a purpose" at the Margarita Ball!

Seeyou then!

Update: As some of you may have noticed who are members
of other groups, I have posted this same event with a
couple other groups just to ensure we get our minimum
20 people to do this. As a result the response has been awesome
& we may have enough to put two packages together!
This is going be be a great Margarita Ball!
    See you Saturday morning!

No Barbara, it is actually at 11am. Thanks for the
Correction. As you saw this is bring posted with other groups so
It is looking like we will have enough folks to do this, so hope you can join us for this meeting!

Tom, one ticket will only admit one person in this case.

Does 1 ticket admit 1 person, or does one ticket admit a couple?
