Just curious- why the federal government shutdown is affecting Florida state parks?

Olustee is within Osceola National Forest, not a state park. Even if it weren't the case the Florida National Scenic Trail is managed by the US Forest Service. While the govt is shut down the volunteer agreement we operate under is also shut down.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
