Hike Durbin-Julington Creek

Our fearless chapter chair, John Rukuski, will lead this day hike through the Preserve.

Check out the map - you'll be surprised that it is right in the middle of Southside.

Bring water, snack, bug spray, camera, wear closed-toe shoes.

    I have not hiked the route but tried to bike it and could not complete. Very sandy patches in spots when it's dry. Very level. Very easy if you walk around the sand area's. Parking lot is small. If you can't find a spot call me and I will assist. 535-3435. Will be great meeting you all.

    Sunday, March 11 is first day of DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME. So, Spring forward and arrive at hike 'an hour earlier' than you would if if was standard time.

    this will be on easy level trails that are dirt tracks wide enough for a car. No hills, rocks, or swamps. Just 6.1 mile loop trail.

    this will be a 6.1 mile loop trail. There will be cut-back trails for those who want a shorter hike like 3 miles or 4 miles.
