We are not a typical Meetup group!

We are a local chapter of the national American Singles Golf Association (ASGA).  Our Meetup site is an invitation to join our local chapter of active, fun-loving single golfers who range in age from 40's to 70's. Our membership draws from North Jersey, Rockland County and New York City.

If you are interested in joining a non-competitive, very social and welcoming group of men and women golfers, this is a great group for you. We have over 75 local members of all ability levels who meet on a regular basis for golf outings, dinner meetings, and social events.

In season, our golfing activities include many weekend and weekday outings, overnight weekend events, and practice events.  Although golf is the primary focus of our chapter, all year round we have monthly dinner meetings, monthly single mingles, and other social events such as bowling, theater, music, barbecues, etc.  The chapter is a part of the national American Singles Golf Association (ASGA) which sponsors events throughout the country at courses such as Pinehurst, Sarasota and Wilmington Beach.  In 2011, ASGA sponsored a week-long golf trip to Scotland that many of our members attended, and Ireland is in the works for 2012.
