Join Us at our NWSA Monthly Meeting

NorthWest Sailing Association, a social sailing club, invites all sailing enthusiasts to their monthly meeting. After a brief business meeting, there will be refreshments and socializing followed by a presentation from Courtney Smith, former NWSA Commodore, who will discuss what the responsibilities are for everyone associated with a club sailing event. Q&A will follow. Socializing will continue nearby at Eddie's, after the meeting. More info about NWSA at where you can also obtain a copy of the Membership Application and details about annual dues.

NWSA Meetup is a public relations initiative of the parent organization NWSA which was organized over 25 years ago and whose membership currently stands at over 200. Many members have boats and the remainder enjoy crewing. At monthly meetings, approximately one-third attend, so there is ample opportunity to meet and talk with sailors of all levels of experience.

If you are not already participating in our 2012 season of sails on Lake Michigan and in WI, be sure to attend the  August 20 meeting, turn in your application form and payment, so you can sign up for the remainder of our season which runs through September, with the final 2012 sail scheduled for October 20 at Lake Geneva. You need to be a fully paid member in order to participate.

As a paid member, you'll also receive our monthly newsletter and will be able to attend additional social events, such as our year-end dinner-dance in November.  But remember that you must be a paid member in order to participate in these additional events.

Join us! Look forward to seeing you at the meeting and on a sail!

Every meeting has been very educational. These are great people who share their sailing lives with us. They not only tell you about it but also provide you with real live experiences.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
