Poetry. [In an email 040314] Poetry has conspiracies, too. "Forget the rhyme, if I was you! Uneven lines are all you need. From rhyming words you are freed." "If we agree to never rhyme, We'll get our way in time To show our way rules And infiltrate the schools!" Now rhyming is the lesser choice. Blank is now the gilded voice. Blank is chosen every time By people that can never rhyme. [Forgive the tongue-in-cheek view of poetry. At times, I feel some people might say something written is a poem so thus it is to them and, perhaps, others. Poetry is in the mind of the beholder.]

I'm not a woman. I'm not young. I'm not a person of color. I'm not from the South. I'm not single. I'm not techophobic. I'm not short. I am a writer on those days when I am writing.
