It is unfortunately this class is so expensive. I can buy a couple of books on the subject and be able to use them indefinitely for forty dollars.

I've not been to this class, however, I've been to foraging classes for $30 and there aren't any books that are comparable to hands on for identifying plants correctly and knowing how to use them. Specifically native plants that grow all around us as weeds. I did meet the teacher at another class and learned much about the medicinal properties of culinary herbs that are not noted in many of my herbs or nutritional books in relation to food as nutrition / medicinal properties.
