Rock Climbing at the Cleveland Rock Gym

Rock Climbing.

Who can go - any one with a sense of adventure and a willingness to try something new. Experience not required, so come acquire some!

Cost is approx $20.00. Less if you own your own harness and/or shoes.

I'll be scheduling this meetup on various nights for those who can't do a particular night so there should be a night you can make it.

It's a little tough to find.
Easiest way to get there is I-90 to E.222.
Go South & turn right after going under the RR tracks.
Take the St. Clair West Truck route.
Or turn right at the light.
It's about 0.5 mile West of E. 222.
Pull in right beside the Red & Blue AC Delco sign.
Follow the driveway around to the left into the parking lot.
The sign for the gym at the road is small, so look for the AC Delco sign, and pull in there.

If you can't make the start, don't worry. It's not like a hike "where you wonder which way did they go?"

We stay in the building, so feel free to show up when you can.

What to wear: Jeans & T-shirt work for most folks. Plus an easy on/off sweater/sweatshirt for use between

climbs as it can be a bit chilly in the gym until you get warmed up, so it's a good idea to bring a layer

you can start out in, and then take it off once you've had a few climbs.
Socks are also important if you'll be using their shoes. I recommend lightweight socks over thick sweatsocks. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

Leave a note if you can belay.
