orienteering season begins and the club holds its first training event
you will have 30 minutes of training on proper usage of maps and compass by knowladgable club members, then you will have a stroll around the lake where you will orienteer and identify map object accompanied by guides.
after that you will get to try solo on easy orinenteering trails
the cost is 10$ for the club- for the map and 30 minutes lesson and the training walkthrough.
orienteering is a fun sport, you can walk, run, and some event use bike and even canoe- but its mostly walking, its alot of fun, try it.
depending on group size, we could get a dedicated guide.
if you know how to orienteer- you can come to improve your skills or help train new people.
