Greenway Corridor bike ride

We're going to take a leisurely ride out and back along Lake Metroparks' beautiful and shady Greenway Corridor.

The ride will be less than 12 miles total and taken mostly on the paved bike trail, with some street crossings and a couple of short sections along roads or sidewalks. The terrain is primarily flat, with only a few gentle hills.

The pace will be moderate--about 10 - 14 mph.--and the second half of the ride will have a downhill incline.

As an added bonus, we're going to stop and take a look at Chair Factory Falls. It is accessible by taking a short (but steep!) .3 mile trail at about the half-way point of this ride.

To get to the Garfield Center parking lot, take W. Washington Street off Mentor Ave., turn right on Gillett. The parking lot is on the right.

I expect we will be back to our cars by 8:30.

Well I need a new map search, got lost in Painsville and arrived after they left. We rode around the college and finally found the bike path. lol Ended up at Riders Inn in time for open mic night! Great food! Next time!

Oh no! Sorry you didn't ride with us, but glad you had dinner + entertainment..
Next time, if you click on the location for an event, it will give you a map and you can get directions, too.

Dave, by off-road do you mean bike paths or are you looking for true mountain bike single track trails?
