This will be a hilly hike of about 10 miles. It starts off with a l-o-n-g hill, and has many other ups and downs. It will probably take at least 3 hours - maybe longer. Due to the terrain and length, I would rate it moderate/strenuous.
Most of the hike will be on bridle trails, and about 1-2 miles will be on paved trails or sidewalks. The bridle trails may be muddy if there has been recent rain. There could be an (optional) creek crossing.
Meet in the parking lot of Hemlock Creek Picnic Area, which is located directly across Dunham Road from the end of Tinker's Creek Road. (See map and get directions by clicking location link above.)
Wear shoes that you know are comfortable and broken in. : )
Bring a snack/lunch and plenty of water. I estimate that we will return to our cars by approximately 1:30-2:00.
