For those who will not be celebrating a traditional Thanksgiving today, and/or those who would like to begin the day with a healthy workout...
Here is a chance to enjoy a cool fall morning with a hike!
Take Sunset Lane off of S.O.M. Center Rd. (rt. 91). At the end of Sunset, turn right onto Buttermilk Parkway. After driving over the bridge and passing Ox Lane and a large pavilion, you will reach the end of the road; park in the large parking lot on your left.
We will explore the A.B. Williams Memorial Woods of North Chagrin Reservation, beginning at the Forest Trail Head, and hike the bridle trail down to Wilson Mills trailhead and back up by Foster's Run. This will involve a couple of fairly steep hills--up and down--and a visit to a very old oak tree, a favorite of mine.

Gorgeous day to spend on the trail with friends. Thanks Lynda and Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Great day and hike. Thanks Lynda for organizing one on this side of town. It is nice to try out some of the east side parks.

If I may ask, how many miles and what is the estimated time to complete the hike?
