--POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT SUNDAY--
Let's take a break from the stresses of the holiday season by meandering through the tranquility of nature.
This is a place we usually visit in the summer; let's discover the changes that have taken place by now.
We'll hike the Marsh Rim, Woods and Lakefront Trails, and also the Shoreline Loop to get a look at what's happening on Lake Erie this time of year.
On this hike we will experience diverse habitats, including marsh, forest, and lake shoreline. In other words, we'll be walking on everything from packed dirt/gravel to mud, sand, and even a bit of concrete.
Part of the marsh portion will have an area of standing water that we will have to navigate. We'll do our best to avoid getting our feet wet.
Terrain: Mostly flat, with just a couple small hills.
Distance: 3 - 3.5 miles
Time: 1.5 - 2 hours
Dress for the weather and remember, the breezes off the lake can be pretty chilly!
