We are a group of hiking friends who enjoy exploring the mountains. We hike and backpack the many beautiful trails in the Northeast - the Harriman, Hudson, Kittanies, Gunks, Taconics, Catskills, Adirondacks and beyond.

We also have the passion for photography. We love taking pictures and sharing our experiences through our photos as much as we enjoy hiking the high peaks.

This meetup is primarily open to our network of hiking friends and acquaintances. One can initially join as guest of, and/or by invitation from regular members. Guest members will become full members once they have done two major day hikes with us and have shown great interest with the group, or will be taken out if inactive after a certain period.

Bear in mind that our major hikes are moderate to strenuous, with a rise of 1,000ft or more, and a total distance of at least 6miles. You must have good hiking experience or are working to promote your skills so you can enjoy our hikes and get rewarded with those amazing sights.

We believe that a more connected membership generates more goodwill and fun for all. And we would like to grow that way. We will limit the group size to promote group cohesiveness. Our core team will set the guidelines for the best way to move the group forward.
