2010 marks the 29th annual Donner Lake Triathlon.
Donner Lake is in northeast California on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada and about 11 miles northwest of Lake Tahoe.

The Donner Lake Triathlon offers both a Sprint and International Distance course providing opportunity for all to participate. Swim in the beautiful clear water, bike out and up historic route U.S. 40 featuring spectacular views of the entire lake, and then run around one of the most scenic alpine lakes anywhere.

Conveniently located off I-80, just minutes from charming and historic downtown Truckee, Donner Lake and West End Beach are one of the areas best kept secrets.

Also - - we got a new sponsor that is "All About kids" will be providing child care services for the event.

So if you got Kids.. this is a great way to bring them along to help Us while they will watch your kids to keep them entertained!

Big Blue Crew needs your Help !

We need people to help with course marshalling and registration. We need volunteers from 11-6pm on Saturday for registration the day before the race (we would provide a place to stay if you could help both sat. and sun) and on Sunday as early as 530am-3pm.

The race is about two hrs driving distance from Sacramento Area. If you are bringing up your friends - suggest to carpool. If you are near Tahoe or Donner Lake area. Swing on By and give us a hand!
